About me
I am a keen cyclist and have been riding a bike for more than 45 years. I use my bicycle as my main form of transport for local journeys. I have more than 15 years of experience in working in projects encouraging and enabling adults and children to walk and cycle more. I have helped deliver Bikeability sessions at my daughter’s school since 2018 and in 2022 I trained as a Bikeability Instructor. I teach Bikeability as a freelance instructor at schools in Stirling, Clackmannanshire and Falkirk.
I deliver led rides for British Cycling’s Breeze programme.
In 2023 I was included in Cycling UK’s Top 100 Women in Cycling for my community work encouraging others to take up cycling.
I’m keen to help others to get into cycling.
I am fully qualified, insured and PVG scheme member.
